Former Louisville cheerleader dies in vehicular crash

Twenty-five-year-old Shanae Moorman, who was a former cheerleader at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, lost her life during a single-vehicle crash that happened on Saturday, August 6 at around 3 a.m. along Interstate 64-East at the Gene Snyder ramp.

Moorman had not been wearing at the time of the incident and was thrown out of the vehicle as it flipped over due to the force of the impact the crash. She was declared dead at the scene of the accident at around 3:10 a.m. by local authorities.

Thirty-four-year-old Bradley Caraway, the person driving the vehicle that Moorman was on, has been charged with leaving the scene of the accident.

Moorman had been a U of L cheerleader from 2010 to 2013 and had been a 2009 graduate of Louisville Male High School.
