Should I just represent myself?

Some people believe that they will save money by representing themselves in court, but this can be a big mistake. Although you could save money in the long run on attorney’s fees, the chances are far greater that you will not win your case when you self-represent, largely because most people are not as knowledgeable about the legal process as an experienced attorney. Even if you were to win your case, you might be awarded far less compensation. Additionally, at the Sampson Law Firm, you don’t pay us to represent you unless we win you compensation, meaning there will be no upfront costs.
