Two die in two-vehicle collision in Frankfort County

The Franklin County Coroner’s Office in Kentucky reported that a two-vehicle collision happened on Wilkinson Street in Frankfort, KY last Friday, killing two people.

According to preliminary investigations, a Toyota was headed south along Wilkinson Street when it collided with a Jeep that was headed north.

The driver and the passenger of the Toyota, 22-year-old Alexandria Nicole Maness and 27-year-old Steven Christopher Snow, respectively, were declared dead at the scene of the accident.

There is no evidence at this time that speed or alcohol were factors in the accident. However, police authorities said both Maness and Snow were not wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.

The Frankfort Police Department and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team are conducting further investigations into the incident. A toxicology exam is also being done on the two deceased.
